First Day

I arrived last night after two flights from New York and a long winding trip to the Arenal Volcano area. I didn't realize until this morning that I had landed in Jurassic Park. Actually, I learned that Costa Rica is only 3 million years old, making it the youngest part of the American Continent. It is rainy and humid and quiet at The Lost Iguana Resort www.lostiguanaresort.com . The only sounds are birds. The people I have met are incredibly friendly and willing to share their love and knowledge of this incredible place. The coffee is amazing and is an integral part of the history and culture.
